Project Purpose and Goal

For one of Europe’s largest fitness groups, operating across five countries, my role involved designing content models in Contentful and developing React Apps/UI extensions.

These were integrated into a mobile fitness app and also powered interactive in-gym touch screen displays.

What we did

  • Custom Integration: Implemented Vixy integration with the Kaltura API for video support in Contentful.
  • Workout Assembler App: Developed a fully custom workout assembler app using the Contentful SDK in React.
  • Utility Extensions: Created additional utility extensions and apps in React.
  • In-Gym Displays: Provided endpoints for seamless integration with Intuiface for in-gym touch screen displays.

Web Stack and Explanation

We developed reusable models and components in Contentful to deliver content across various systems. By utilizing the Contentful SDK and leveraging TypeScript with React, we enhanced functionality and ensured seamless integration.
